My Dad Has Chest Pain

I am home with my dad, and he has been complaining that his chest hurts. He is getting older, into his 70’s, and I am worried that he could be having a heart attack. He was just telling me that it is angina, and he just has to take this medicine, and it will go away. I am just not convinced. I don’t want to stay at home, and realize later that I should have taken him to the hospital because he was having a heart attack. I just don’t know what I should do. I think I will call his doctor.

My grandma has this medicine she takes every time she feels some pressure or pain in her chest. I am always scared when she takes it that she is going to have a heart attack, but she always tells me that she is just fine. I am just wondering what the difference is between angina and an actual heart attack because I want to be ready if something were to happen to that would mean that i would need to take her into the emergency room. She doesn’t ever seem to be worried, but i can’t see how she isn’t worried.
