As Septemeber 2009 begins it brings with it the welcome beginnings of the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival. The festival is a celebration of the best of food and drink available in Sussex and as such has evolved intoa great favourite for visitors as well as a welcomeopportunity for local producers to exhibittheir wares!In in excess50,000 people were drwan to sample the broad range of displays, stalls and tasting opportunities - seeing just what our local counties can produce. An even hgher number of visitors are expected this year -attracted to the excellent reports of previous festivals - as well as the exciting new ideas the organisers have brought to the 2009 event. In addition to exhibiting local producers of vegetables, fruit, meats, wines, cheeses, etc etc this year they are in addition unveilingtheconcept of ‘Open House Dining’ - an event where people host tv style ‘Come Dine With Me’ events in their own home.
